Ill make this simple. My name is Byrd. I am from Memphis. I have two cars. My daily driver is a 1994 Ford F-150. Old faithful if you will. My weekend toy is a 2007 Honda Rancher 420 4x4. My race car is a 2002 Ford Mustang GT. Dont ask me how fast it is in the straights because i dont know and dont care. My car has more than one trick up its sleeve. It can go straight and then turn left, and after that, it can turn right. My sport is Autocross and Im an addict. I am Solo Chair for the Mid-South Region of the SCCA for 2008. My Mustang also serves as my Rally-x car. Come out and try to beat me sometime.

I added a Autocross section under competition and made you a Mod so you can keep us informed. Not sure how many on here would be interested,but you might get a few converts. Lot of guys with Vettes talking about how good they handle! LOL!

I never thought that killing cones could be so much fun until I did the autocross setup by AirRide Technologies on Power Tour last year. Race

I must admit, I had a blast. I plan on making it out to Walnut Ridge this year to watch the big event out there.

GreenMeanie, there is no big event at walnut ridge this year. it was cancelled last year and nothing scheduled for this year. There is something happening around there though. I think it is a ProSolo at newport?

April 12 & 13. You are more than welcome to attend Mid-South Region events. I think you will enjoy our road course events. Ill be posting schedules in the autocross forum soon.
